The Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinder program invites developers to stretch the limits of reality. We’re looking for developers to join us in our journey creating innovative applications for the next generation of XR headworn devices for consumer and enterprise audiences. We’re providing early access to Snapdragon Spaces technology, project funding, hardware dev kits, as well as co-marketing and promotion to bring these ideas to life. If you’re in the Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinder Program, you’ll join an active community of Snapdragon Spaces developers bravely exploring, collaborating, and innovating.

We are looking for innovative developers creating experiences, applications and games for both enterprise and consumer use cases. If your idea is to create or enhance a highly interactive immersive experience, we want you! If you keep your users engaged and coming back often, we want you! Snapdragon Spaces supports AR and VR/MR headworn devices. We’re excited to hear your ideas for any of these realities!

No. Snapdragon Spaces is built for the enterprise too! Snapdragon Spaces is now supported on the soon to launch Lenovo VRX device, and we’ll be announcing additional devices in the coming months. We welcome your ideas for deploying XR into the enterprise!

We aren’t putting a limit on the number of developers admitted to the program. If you have a great idea, we want to help you bring it to life. Even if you aren’t accepted on the first try, keep in touch and let us know how you’re progressing. We believe in mentoring our Snapdragon Spaces developers, so they become Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinders! We’re here to help!

Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinder Program funding per developer will vary depending on the complexity of your project. Most project funding range from $15K to $50K, but some awards will be higher. The program will be ongoing, so the budget for project funding will vary from year to year.

The project funding we provide should be used to create the application or experience in your project proposal, but we won’t limit your creativity! We’ll monitor your progress, provide mentorship and technical support to help you get the project complete, but we won’t dictate how you spend the project funding!

Never! We want our Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinders to be successful. When you succeed, we succeed. We’ll be there along the way to guide you, but we never expect you to pay the project funding back.

You do! We are focused on growing the Snapdragon Spaces ecosystem and making our XR platform best-in-class. You own your intellectual property (IP) from start to finish. You do you, and we’ll do us!

An internal team reviews applications. We’re currently making decisions on a quarterly basis. When you submit your proposal, please be specific and concise so we understand your idea. If we require additional details, we’ll reach out. Your project will be evaluated based on a mix of creativity, plausibility, quality and market potential.
